Creating the Outside Template:

Open Photoshop Elements.

Create a New Document:

Go to File > New.

Set the Width to 10 inches and Height to 7 inches for a folded 5x7 card.

Set the Resolution to 300 pixels/inch for high-quality printing.

Click OK to create the new document.

Add Guides:

Go to View > Rulers (Ctrl+R to show rulers).

Click and drag from the left ruler to the 5-inch mark to create a vertical guide. This will help you divide the front and back of the card.

Design the Outside of the Card:

Front Side (right side of the guide): Add your main image, greeting, or design.

Back Side (left side of the guide): Add your logo, website, or a small message.

Save the Template:

Go to File > Save As.

Name the file (e.g., "Card_Outside_Template") and save it as a PSD file.

Creating the Inside Template:

Create a New Document:

Go to File > New.
-
Set the Width to 10 inches and Height to 7 inches.

Click OK to create the new document.

Add Guides:

Go to View > Rulers.

Design the Inside of the Card:

Left Side (left side of the guide): Leave blank or add additional messages, photos, or designs.

Right Side (right side of the guide): Add your main message or greeting.

Save the Template:

Go to File > Save As.

Name the file (e.g., "Card_Inside_Template") and save it as a PSD file.

Printing and Assembling the Card:

Print the Outside Template:

Go to File > Print.

Make sure to print on high-quality paper for the best results.

Print the Inside Template:

Once the outside template is printed, flip the paper and print the inside template on the reverse side.

Cut and Fold:

Cut the card along the edges and fold it in half along the guide.

By creating separate templates for the inside and outside of your card, you can have more control over your design and ensure everything aligns perfectly.
